Diamond Hill Farm is a small, family-run operation specializing in traditional farm products like Hereford cattle, corn, soybeans, wheat, oats, straw and hay.
At Halloween, it becomes a magical place for children, with pumpkins and gourds and hay rides, barrel train rides and a kiddie corn maze.
Fall activities are open through Oct. 31, according to the farm's website.
"The hay ride takes you out between corn fields and beside the pumpkin patch," the website says. "It continues up across our contour strips and takes you onto the highest point of the farm overlooking the countryside. You get to sit back on a straw bale and enjoy the fall season. The hay ride is low to the ground with a step up and a ramp, making it handicap-accessible. Unlimited hay rides are included in the all-day pass on the weekends and available for group events during the week."
Both children and adults can ride the barrel train.
"The barrel train takes you out between corn fields, then turns into the corn maze," the farm says. "It cuts across the maze and comes out into the bean field. You'll want to hold on for loops and figure eights. Unlimited barrel train rides are included in the all-day pass on the weekends and available for group events during the week."
The Fun Fest area has farm animals, a corn maze, pedal track, burlap sack slide, corn bus and slide, and straw mountain.
The farm also sells pumpkins and gourds.
