FREDERICKTOWN – Georgene D. Ogle, 90, of Fredericktown passed away on Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at the Laurels of Mount Vernon.

She was born on May 8, 1931, in Mount Vernon to the late George and Florence (Fletcher) Doup. Georgene was a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, the Pythian Sisters and the Nature Lovers Garden Club. She enjoyed bowling and playing golf, but most of all she loved the time she spent with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter Vicky “Stump” (Donald Garrabrant) Rine and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Georgene was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ogle; two sisters, Nancy Doup and Mary Tanner; and three brothers, Charles “Chick” Doup, Robert “Coony” Doup and John “Butch” Doup.

Friends may call on Tuesday, Oct. 26, from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown. A service will follow, beginning at 1 p.m., with Mr. Roger Marra officiating. Burial will take place in Amity Cemetery.
