BERLIN – Ada Mae Mullet, 87, of Berlin passed away at her home on Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, following a brief illness.
She was born on Feb. 14, 1934, to the late Andy and Ada (Miller) Troyer. On May 10, 1952, she married Freemon Mullet, who preceded her in death on June 19, 2014.
Ada was a member of Melita Christian Fellowship; she never met strangers and found joy in serving others in the communities and church that she lived in.
She is survived by her five children, William (Rebecca) Mullet of McConnelsville, Betty (Mark) Yoder of Sugarcreek, Mary Alice Mullet of the home, Minerva (David) Byler of Stark City, Mo., and Miriam (Nate) Hostetler of Circleville; 19 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; a brother, Noah (Emma) Troyer of Winesburg; and a sister, Nettie (late Emanuel) Chupp of Sarasota, Fla.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Freemon, Ada was preceded in death by two great-grandsons, Larkin and McAllister Yoder; and nine siblings, Anna Miller, Raymond Troyer, Mose Troyer, John Troyer, Mary Schlabach, Joni Troyer, Elizabeth Miller, Dorothy Byler and Amanda Mullet.
Funeral services will be held at the Melita Fellowship Church, 9956 Camp Road, Utica, on Wednesday, Oct. 20, at 10 a.m. with Pastor Alan Byler officiating. Burial will follow in the local Amish Cemetery. Calling hours will be held at Bethel Fellowship Church 4183 State Route 39, Millersburg, on Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Melita Fellowship Church on Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m.
