MOUNT VERNON – Reva Mae McMillan, 92, of Mount Vernon passed away on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at her home.

She was born on May 15, 1929, in Mount Vernon to the late William and Nellie (Baker) Hubbell. Reva enjoyed sewing, crochet, cooking and gospel music. She was a long-time member and secretary at the Monroe – Dan Emmet Grange. But most of all, Reva loved the time she spent with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Mark McMillan, John McMillan, Gregory (Mary Williams) McMillan and David (Mimi) McMillan; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Reva was preceded in death by her husband, Warren McMillan; her brothers, Merlin Hubbell and Wayne Hubbell; and her sisters, Mildred McKay and Ruby Mickley.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 15, beginning at 1 p.m. at Workman Cemetery in Danville with Pastor Marvin Haught officiating.

The family would like to thank long time caregiver Pam McMahon and most recently Jenny Neighbarger for their wonderful care and compassion.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ebenezer United Methodist Church.
