MOUNT VERNON – Al D. Hansen, 75, of Mount Vernon passed away at his residence on Oct. 2, 2021, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 14, 1946, in Gary, Indiana.
Al was a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He enjoyed watching "The Price is Right" and "Let’s Make a Deal." Al was an avid football fan. He also enjoyed driving through Amish country.
Al is survived by his wife, Maryanne Hansen (Gascoine); a son, Ryan (Amy) House of Mount Vernon; a daughter, Tracy (Ronald) Clark of Prosper, Texas; and grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emma and Aiden of Prosper, Texas.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at the Fredericktown United Methodist Church in Fredericktown at 11 a.m.
