FREDERICKTOWN – William “Bill” Breeze of Fredericktown passed away on Oct. 2, 2021, after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife, Linda, of 54 years and two sons, Walter (Sue) and William JR (Tiffanie). Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Kim (Katy); sister, Rhonda (Rick) Ricker; and nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Elizabeth Breeze; a brother, Walter Carlos; and a granddaughter.

Bill was hard-working, being employed by the Village of Fredericktown as Street Commissioner; Boyd Bros. Trucking/B&B Farm Service for 22 years, Fredericktown Schools for 20 years and PPG Industries for 25 years,

Bill served his community on the Fredericktown Fire Department for 35 years. He also served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of the American Legion Post 500 and a member of the Moose Lodge 2555.

A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 8, 2021, at the Church of God (State Route 13 North) at 12 p.m. with calling hours one hour prior.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Hospice of Knox County in Bill’s name.
