GAMBIER – Wilma D. Yoder, 87, of Gambier died on Sept. 19, 2021, at her residence peacefully in her sleep, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Feb. 21, 1934, in LaGrange County, Ind., to the late Daniel and Elnora Yoder (Yoder).
Wilma was a member of the Melita Fellowship Church in Utica. She was a homemaker and helped at Yoder’s Cider Barn.
She is survived by her loving family: children, Susan and William Bullock of Mount Vernon, Sheldon and Rhoda Yoder of Gambier, Sharon Yoder of Gambier, Sarah and Tim Miller of Sarasota, Fla., and Steve and Vera Yoder of Gambier; two sisters, Katie Mullet of Nappanee, Ind., and Martha Hostetler of Linn, Mont.; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and also part of the family, Tonia Osborn Bennington and Shawn Bennington.
Wilma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Levi Jerome Yoder; one brother; and four sisters.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday, Sept. 21, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Melita Fellowship Church, 9956 Camp Ohio Road, Utica, OH 43080. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, Sept. 22, at 10 a.m. at Melita Fellowship Church, with a burial to follow at the Church Cemetery.
