WALHONDING – Glenn L. Kidwell, 90, of Walhonding passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2021.
He was born on Nov. 30, 1930, in Ashtabula County, Ohio, to the late Roy and Clarice (Porter) Kidwell.
Glenn was a lifetime Christian and member of Grove Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Masonic Lodge, Ohio Eastern Star and past Jackson Twp. Trustee.
Glenn is survived by his son, Tom (Carolyn) Kidwell of Walhonding; granddaughters, Elizabeth Kidwell, Lesley (Garic) Warner and Rebecca (Tony) Pritchett; grandsons, Roderic (Rebecca) Cooper and Ryan Cooper; 10 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Becky Baldwin, Jeannie Beach, Paula Wilson, Peggy Lamb and Barby Newton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mildred, to whom he was married in 1948 and who passed in 2007; daughter, Pamela Cooper; brother, Howard Kidwell; sisters, Stella Ewart and Deanna Johnson; his second wife, Virginia Kidwell, to whom he was married in 2008 and who passed in July 2021; and his brother-in-law, Edgar (Grace) Jones.
Family will observe private services and burial in Bladensburg Cemetery. The Snyder Funeral Home - Lasater Chapel is handling the services for the Kidwell family.
The family is planning a memorial service for a later date due to COVID-19.
