MOUNT VERNON – Martha M. Bruch, 95, of Mount Vernon passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2021, at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on Oct. 18, 1925, in Racine, Ohio, the daughter of Raymond and Freda (Koenig) Krider. 

Martha enjoyed tending to her flower garden and loved spending time with her grandchildren and family. 

She is survived by her son, Delbert (Marla) Bruch; grandchildren, Christopher (Amy) Bruch, Stephanie (Chris Short) Rees and Laura Chester; great-grandchildren, Tabitha Chester, Brandon Seitz, Morgan Rees, Jordin (Jared Cummins) Rees, Racheal Rees, Ashlyn Troyer, Coleton (Madison O’Bryan) Bruch, Kelsey (Travis McNamara) Jones, Korey (Madison Larsen) Jones and McKenna May; great-grandchildren, Amelia Grace Rees, Wesley Michael Cummins, Ella McNamara and Owen McNamara; and two sisters, Minnie Bloch of Lady Lake, Fla., and Elsie Raines of Fort Myers, Fla.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernest E. Bruch; a daughter, Elizabeth Chester; four brothers, Thelmer Krider, Russell Krider, Marvin Krider and John Krider; and a sister, Alta Dill.

The family will observe a private graveside service in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Martha M. Bruch.
