MOUNT VERNON – Frank W. Focht, 97, of Mount Vernon passed away on Aug. 9, 2021, at Brookdale of Mount Vernon.
He was born on Feb. 10, 1924, in North Dakota to the the late George and Anna (Arnold) Focht.
Frank was a U.S. Navy veteran. A member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and the VFW. Frank was retired from Chattanooga Glass.
He is survived by his daughter, Kay Focht of Mansfield; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He had 12 brothers and sisters and is preceded in death by nine of them
Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Wilhelmina “Minnie,” in 2009; and his son, Michael Focht.
A Mass will be held on Friday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Friends may call one hour prior to services at the church. Entombment will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Gardens.
