MOUNT VERNON – Alicia V. Antill, 83, of Mount Vernon passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 2, 2021, at Knox Community Hospital. She was born on April 4, 1938, in Holmes County, the daughter of Dennis and Isabell (Markley) Hostetler.

Alicia was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and served as an office manager for over 40 years at Wise Choice Propane. She liked to read and loved spending quality time with her family. Alicia was content to sit on her porch swing and enjoy her family’s company. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Henry Antill, whom she married on Sept. 2, 1966; her daughter, Holly (John) Pauley of Mount Vernon; a grandson, Dylan Pauley; and a great-grandson, Karsyn Pauley.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Jordan Pauley.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 10, beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 170 Mansfield Ave., Mount Vernon, OH 43050. Pastor Mark Wildermuth will be officiating. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Alicia V. Antill.
