CENTERBURG – Thomas B. Moreland, 55, of Centerburg, passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2021. He was born on July 14, 1965, to Gary and Dianne (Debolt) Moreland in Mount Vernon. 

Tom was a skilled mechanical engineer and gunsmith and enjoyed teaching shooting sports. Never afraid to lend a hand, he was involved in community volunteer work with the Oldtime Farming Festival, Knox County 4-H, the Knox County Career Center, and he was a member of local Moose 2455 and the NRA. Tom graduated from Centerburg High School in 1983 and from Trinidad State Junior College in 1986 with a degree in gunsmithing.

He is survived by his loving family and many friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1–6 p.m. on July 10 at the home of his sister, Amie Myers, 2940 Croton Road, Centerburg, OH 43011.
