FREDERICKTOWN – Robert “Bob” T. Algire, 85, of Fredericktown, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2021. He was born on Dec. 14, 1935, in Fredericktown to Lawrence and Sarah Helen (Smith) Algire.
Bob’s life was filled with family, a lifelong passion of farming and driving trucks.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ruth (Long) Algire; daughters, Debbie Algire, Cathy (Randy) Miller and Amy (Mike) Shoewalter; a son, Tom (Ann) Algire; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim (Tina) Algire and Ron (Susan) Algire; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Calver; and a brother, Larry Algire.
As were his wishes, there will be no calling hours. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
