Did you know?

The natural gas industry alone supports 4.1 million U.S. jobs. But, that isn’t where the jobs end. The oil and gas energy supply chain is made up of over 120,000 companies, of which at least 100,000 are small businesses. And, over the last decade, the surge in production from the shale revolution has helped create 1.4 million new manufacturing jobs for Americans.

As the American Gas Association puts it, “Energy is the capacity to do work.” And, the workers and businesses investing their time and money into the oil and gas industry literally fuel America—keeping our lights on, keeping us warm in the winter and getting us where we need to be.

That’s why short-sighted, dangerous, so-called “green” policies hurt everyday Americans the most. For example, despite a pile of campaign promises that he would not ban fracking, the Biden administration recently let a fracking ban take hold in the Delaware River Basin that covers Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Delaware. This will be a devastating blow to workers and businesses in that region. And, if such a ban was applied to the whole country, it would eliminate 19 million jobs by 2025.

American energy workers deserve our thanks, not policies that kill their jobs. We’d like to hear from you! Do you oppose dangerous policies that would ban American energy workers, raise our bills and destroy our energy independence?
