FREDERICKTOWN – Margaret L. Bryan, 80, of Fredericktown, went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at her home of almost 61 years.

Margaret was born on Oct. 30, 1940, and loved to tell everyone she met that she was “motor oil 10/30/40.” She was born in Dayton to the late James O. and Clara Leonard. Margaret grew up in Lewisburg but had lived in Fredericktown since 1960. She was a retired preschool teacher and nurse, was a member of the Eastern Star and Fredericktown Historical Society, Faith Lutheran Church and Fredericktown United Methodist Church. Margaret was always acting silly and making sound effects. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Mark (Janie Wisenbarger) Bryan and Gregg (Chris) Bryan; her daughter, Lori (Dan) Dendinger; her grandsons, Anthony (Deidra) Angelas, Zach (Maddie Rapp) Bryan, Collin Bryan, Justin Dendinger and Jacob Dendinger; her sisters, Mary (Jerry) Carter and Patricia Willeke; several nieces and nephews; her honorary son, Dr. Jim (Shawn) Heaton; and her honorary daughter, Tammie Miller. 

In addition to her parents, Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Larry R. Bryan; her brother, James O. Leonard Jr.; and her special friend, Dr. Eddie Blackburn.

Friends may call from 4–7 p.m. on Thursday, April 1, at the Snyder Funeral Home in Fredericktown. A service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Wildermuth officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
