Ohio School Board Association Student Achievement Fair 

Each spring, the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) Central Region recognizes districts that had programs selected for exhibition at the OSBA Capital Conference Student Achievement Fair. The Mount Vernon High School Art Program was recognized as an Outstanding Program at the Spring Conference on Wednesday, March 10, 2021. 

This recognition is a result of the colored-pencil renderings displayed by students Aubrey Meeker, Allic Ashcraft, Anna Hellman and Aaralyn Thomas.

During the 1996-97 school year, the Board of Education initiated a Memorial Book Fund to purchase books for our school libraries in memory of an employee, immediate family member of an employee, or student who has passed away. The books and/or topics of interest are provided by the family, as well as the choice of library. The following books are being donated at this time:

The information is directly related to a request for economic development assistance that is to be provided or administered under the statutes set forth in RC 121.22(G)(8)(1) or involves public infrastructure improvements or the extension of utility services that are directly related to an economic development project; A unanimous quorum of the board of education determines, by a roli call vote, that the executive session is necessary to protect the interests of the applicant or the possible investment or expenditure of public funds to be made in connection with the economic development project.
