Currently, the Health Department is accepting vaccine requests from the Phase 1a group: health care personnel who work directly with COVID-19 patients; emergency medical service workers; and congregate care sites such as long term care, assisted living, group homes and home health.

PLMVKC's Teen Writing Program continues its partnership with Breakbread Literacy Project to offer Nonfiction with Brian Murphy, next in a series of virtual linked writing workshops for young creatives. Each workshop will have two sessions: a generative workshop where participants meet a guest author and complete a writing prompt; and a peer workshop where participants get feedback from the workshop group. TWP is free and open to young writers age 13-19 in grades 7-12. All are welcome! Registration is required.
