This is Sammie, she's this week's pet of the week.
Sammie is a 13-pound West Highland white terrier, who is full of spunk with a little bit of sass. She belongs to Shawn and Elizabeth Barrett along with their 3 children Ethan, Jonah and Levi of New Albany, Ohio.
Sammie was born May 24, 2011 and still plays like a puppy. She loves the snow, playing with balls and toys and, of course, playing with all her brothers. One of her favorite things to do is snuggle on the couch and take naps with her brothers. She is a true one-of-a-kind man's best friend.
Although she is afraid of thunderstorms, she will take on a vacuum or the sound of a blender any day. She also loves to bark at any animals on TV. Her favorite treats are peas and carrots.
Sammie was adopted on a trip to Pennsylvania a few months after the Barrett's were married and has been a wonderful family addition ever since.
Sammie gets groomed every couple of months by David at Professional Pet Grooming and loves her bubble bath. She acts as if she feels like a new woman after her haircut.
