MILLERSBURG — Annabelle C. Lonzo, 93, of Millersburg, and formerly of Mount Vernon, passed away on Monday, Dec. 7, 2020, at the Sycamore Run Care Center in Millersburg.  She was born on Jan. 25, 1927, in Mount Vernon, the daughter of Charles and Lura (Cunningham) Robertson.

Annabelle was a member of the Mulberry Street United Methodist Church. She owned and operated a daycare business in Mount Vernon where she has cared for more than 250 children over the years. Annabelle enjoyed sewing, cooking and had a love for all animals.

She is survived by her daughters; Laura (Chad) Whitman of Millersburg and Jill (Jim) Taylor of Fairborn; fourteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Lonzo; two daughters, Lynda Huffman and Janice Hubbell; two brothers, Vaughn Robertson and Wallace Clare Robertson; and a sister, Reva Mae Robertson.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13, at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon.

Due to the current health situation, masks will be required and social distance will be observed.

The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Annabelle C. Lonzo.
