MOUNT VERNON – Kudos First Annual Youth Drawing Contest winners were presented with their prizes on Saturday, Nov. 28.
Winning entries are matted and prominently displayed at Kudos. Other entries are displayed as well. Please stop by to see the work of these promising young Knox County artists. Entries will be displayed from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Saturday, Dec. 5, at Kudos, 10 S. Main St. in Mount Vernon.
Entrants are asked to pick up their drawings and certificates on Monday, Dec. 7, at Kudos.
First-place winners, prize - $25 each: ages 3-5 – Alaina Reiss, 5; ages 6-9 – Caroline Biggerstaff, 6; ages 10-14 – Graccen Young, 13; and ages 15-18 – Jaimie Davis, 15.
Second-place winners, prize - art supplies: ages 3-5 – Evie Lawrence, 4; ages 6-9 – Gavin Conkle, 7; ages 10-14 – Anna Flaherty, 11; and ages 15-18 – Bridgett Miller, 18.
Third-place winners, prizes - age groups 3-5 and 6-9, Edward Emberly drawing book; age groups 10-14 and 15-18, art pens: ages 3-5 – Natalie Benedict, 5; ages 6-9 – Alex Busenburg, 8; ages 10-14 – Brant Stockberger, 12; and ages 15-18 – Wryn Miller, 15.
