Dean’s Jewelry announced the launch of its Hope Sparkles event, set to take place June 16–20 at both its Coshocton and Mount Vernon locations. The initiative expands on the company’s annual Repair & Shine event by combining complimentary jewelry services with charitable giving to benefit local families.
During the week-long event, customers can bring in their jewelry for professional cleaning, inspection, and repair assessments at no charge. For each repair service performed, Dean’s Jewelry will add a $5 community donation on behalf of the customer. Additional donations can be made at checkout. The Coshocton location will support United Way of Coshocton County, while the Mount Vernon location will support United Way of Knox County.
A jewelry raffle will also be held during the event to further benefit each location’s United Way partner. Raffle tickets are available for $10 each, three for $25, or eight for $50. All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly to United Way.

"Repair is about restoring what we love," said co-owner Michelle Turner. "Hope Sparkles connects that idea to something bigger. When we help a piece of jewelry shine again, we’re also helping people right here in our community."
Katie Ellis, Executive Director of United Way of Knox County, said, "United Way is honored to partner with Dean’s Jewelry for this exciting event. By joining United Way and Hope Sparkles, you are part of a movement that brings help and hope to your neighbors."

On June 19—Sparkle Match Day—Dean’s Jewelry will match community donations up to $1,000. Guests in Coshocton can enjoy Jared’s Ice Cream throughout the week; on June 19 in Mount Vernon, Chrome Cones ice cream truck will participate in the celebration. Every ice cream customer receives one free raffle ticket.
