MOUNT VERNON – Mr. and Mrs. David Doup observed 50 years of marriage on Oct. 17, 2020.

David and the former Linda Diehl were married on Oct. 17, 1970, at St. Vincent de Paul Church. The Rev. Smith officiated the ceremony.

They are the parents of Angela McClary and Kelly Peters. Their grandchildren are Taylor and Brooke McClary; Alexis, Alyssa and Austyn Peters; and Adelyn Hull.

David retired after 32 years with American National Can. He has been employed as a bus driver and worked as a purchaser and administrative assistant for Hoover Industries for 17 years. 

Linda currently helps with the care of her mother who recently reached 100 years of age.
