MOUNT VERNON — Earlene Yarman McMains, 100, of Mount Vernon, passed away June 28, 2019, at the Ohio Eastern Star Home.
She was born April 30, 1919, in Mount Vernon to Carl T. and Bertha W. (Shipman) Tucker.
Earlene retired from Mount Vernon City Schools.
She is survived by daughter-in-law Betty Yarman of Howard; three grandchildren, Barba (Jim) Bevard, Linda Yarman, and John (Ann) Yarman III; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John L. Yarman, in 1978; second husband, Paul McMains, 2013; and son, John L. Yarman, in 2019.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Lasater Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the start of the funeral at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Bloomfield Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in Earlene’s memory to Kindred Hospice.
