MOUNT VERNON — Country Club Rehabilitation Campus Activities staff Wednesday co-hosted a March Spring Fling with the Students Making an Impact in the Lives of the Elderly (SMILE) group in celebration of the beginning of spring with CCRC residents.

SMILE is a group of students from Mount Vernon Nazarene University that come to CCRC on a regular schedule to fellowship with residents on Sunday evenings.

The Spring Fling was a special way for the students and residents to connect socially. This year MVNU’s SMILE group invited its track team to ensure all the ladies at CCRC had lots of dancing partners. The evening was filled with fun, laughter, fellowship, music, dancing to the oldies and great food, a festive time to enjoy each other.
