Mr. and Mrs. Rocky Canterbury of Mount Vernon will observe their 40th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2020.

Mr. Canterbury and the former Tammie Shira were united in marriage Sept. 6, 1980, at the Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon.

The Rev. M. Eugene Leiter, uncle of the bride, performed the ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Canterbury are the parents of a son, Ryan, and twin daughters, Brandi and Brittany. They are the grandparents of Reese, Hadlie, Ryleigh, Haidyn, Briggs, Huxton and  another grandchild on the way.
