Public Library of Mount Vernon & Knox County

The Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County is hosting a series of summer reading programs and activities from June 30 to July 2, 2025.

The Knox County library system is gearing up for its Summer Reading program, offering a variety of activities and events across its locations.

To participate in the 2025 Teen Summer Reading Program, teens are invited to visit the Circulation Desk on the children's floor of the Mount Vernon Library.

The Public Library of Mount Vernon & Knox County has announced that Charles Yu, the author of "Interior Chinatown," will join NEA Big Read Chairman Ira Sukrungruang for a conversation at Knox Memorial Theater on March 23.
