The Mount Vernon Police Department recently held its second annual Awards Banquet at the Woodward Opera House.

TT Crouch, assistant golf Mount Vernon Nazarene University, recapped Junior League action from last week at the Vernon View Golf Course. According to Crouch, “Mount Vernon’s, Griffin Beach fired a 26 to take the lead in the Wendy’s Division. David Bright out of Centerburg shot a 25 to lead the Mount Vernon GMC division. Colin Fox and Jaydn Row both sit at the top of the leader board with a 28 to lead the Savage Pools & Patios division."
