There is a mounting nursing shortage in Central Ohio and a local college hopes to alleviate the problem by welcoming interested students into its nursing program.

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) recognized Mount Vernon resident Mark Ramser with the college’s Legends of Loyalty award during a recent Knox Campus Town Hall and presidential reception celebrating COTC’s 50 Anniversary.

Central Ohio Technical College (COTC) is accepting nominations for three alumni awards: the Outstanding Alumni Award, the Transitions Alumni Award and the John C. “Jay” Barker Community Service Alumni Award.
