Stella Weisbrod of Centerburg (17-3, 10-1) was once again on top of her game, leading the Trojans to a 3-0 sweep victory over KMAC rival Cardington-Lincoln (10-10, 6-4) last week.

Centerburg (14-2, 7-1) and Mount Vernon (13-4, 8-2) squared off in what was a matchup between two of the top teams in their respective conferences fighting for the top spot, and the Trojans rose to the occasion in a big 3-1 win over the Yellow Jackets fueled by a big night by senior outside hitter Stella Weisbrod.

Centerburg quarterback Jesse Rings threw for 201 yards and rushed for 131 more in the Trojans 21-0 Friday shutout of Cardington-Lincoln, in Cardington.

Centerburg jumped out to a 21-0 lead and never relinquished it against Loudonville (2-3), defeating the Redbirds 37-15.

Murray Russell Hendrickson, born July 4, 1950, passed away unexpectedly on September 6, 2023 at his home in Centerburg, Ohio. The son of Jean and Russell Hendrickson, he was a 1968 graduate of Centerburg High School.

The Centerburg girls volleyball team is coming off an impressive 17-6 season, which was the best record for the Trojans since they went 20-3 in 2012. This year, the team is hoping to have more success led by Stella Weisbrod- a four year varsity player who is coming off a first-team All-Conference and second team All-District nod.

A red hot player, and a return honor earned by a perfect diamond performance. Our Athletes of the Week are Chesnee Fairall (Centerburg softball) and Bryar Householder (East Knox baseball).

Centerburg's softball program is fueled by high expectations and a strong work ethic.

The Centerburg Trojans have big expectations for the 2023 season after placing second in KMAC last year, with a 10-2 record and 20-5 overall, to set the school record in wins, with Trojans baseball coach Josh Moss saying he is impressed with the athleticism of the team coming in.

For the Centerburg Trojan Pride Marching Band, a squad of performance musicians most often seen on the football field, it was a day in which the team and the Centerburg High School Choir performed on a national stage.

Centerburg High School celebrated two of its stellar student-athletes moving on in their careers with a double signing Feb. 9.

The Centerburg High School Drama Department will present Clue on Friday, March 10, and Saturday, March 11, at 7:30 p.m. and again on Sunday, March 12, at 2:30 p.m. in the Centerburg High School auditorium at 3782 Columbus Road.
