Ariel-Foundation Park to host free July 4 celebration

Ariel-Foundation Park will host Mount Vernon's fireworks on Thursday, July 4. The fireworks, expected to start around 10 p.m., will be preceded by a concert at the Schnormeier Event Center, with opener McLennon at 5 p.m., Chaz and Nicki at 6 p.m., and headliners Tom the Torpedoes at 7 p.m.
