More than 170 children and parents attended a community day on June 13 at the Church of Nazareno Monte Sinai in Quito, Ecuador. The event aimed to serve local sectors and share the love of Christ through practical activities, according to a July 2 announcement.

Church members and leaders organized the event, preparing a space to welcome families. Attendees participated in games, contests, prize giveaways, and enjoyed a clown show during the afternoon.

Nazarene Youth International leaders provided refreshments such as popcorn, nachos, ice cream, and drinks. Organizers said every detail was prepared with dedication to ensure participants had a meaningful experience.

A highlight of the day was the screening of the movie David. Organizers said many children heard for the first time about "a God who loves them, knows them, and has a purpose for their lives." The screening offered an opportunity to share hope and faith while emphasizing the gospel message's importance to families.

Mónica Quelal from Nazarene Compassionate Ministries said, "This initiative was born with the desire to get acquainted with the children and families of the community, establishing connections and demonstrating that the church is committed to serving people holistically." The event concluded with gratitude from organizers for being able to share time together as an expression of their faith.
