Knox County Career Center JROTC announces 2025-2026 Outstanding Cadet Awards

The Knox County Career Center’s Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps announced the recipients of its Outstanding Cadet Awards for the 2025-2026 school year. The announcement recognized four cadets for their achievements across grade levels.

Cadet Allyson Brooks was named Freshman of the Year. Cadet Jenna Jurkowitz received the Sophomore of the Year award. Cadet Jack Wallace was selected as Junior of the Year, and Cadet James Doss was chosen as Senior of the Year.

The awards highlight individual accomplishments within the JROTC program at Knox County Career Center in Mount Vernon, Ohio. Each cadet was recognized for their performance during the academic year.
