An online registration through PowerSchool Enrollment is required before the scheduled registration appointment. The required documents may be uploaded directly into PowerSchool Enrollment or emailed to the school secretary before kindergarten screening.
Parents and guardians should be prepared to provide a photo ID, the child's original birth certificate, proof of residency, immunization records, and any applicable custody documentation at the time of enrollment. Acceptable residency documents include a mortgage statement, a gas, electric, or water bill, a lease agreement, a deed, or a property tax statement.
In accordance with Ohio Revised Code 3313.67.2 and the Missing Children's Act, families must also submit a certified copy of any divorce decree, parenting plan, or other legal documents assigning custody or guardianship, when applicable.
Families new to the district will complete a three‑step process to register their kindergarten students for the upcoming school year. Parents must complete Steps 1 and 2 online before their child can be enrolled. Those needing assistance at any point may refer to the Kindergarten Enrollment Guidelines. The district recommends allowing about 30 minutes to complete the online registration form and advises using a desktop or laptop computer for ease of use. Before beginning, families should have phone numbers and email addresses for home and work, student health information and emergency contact details readily available.
Questions about the registration process may be addressed by contacting the home attendance area school or the district registrar. District Registrar Deb Doup can be reached by email at [email protected] or by phone at 740‑397‑7422, ext. 6000.
