The Licking County Health Department will host a free community baby shower on Saturday, Feb. 28, at the YMCA Mitchell Center.
The event runs from 9:30 a.m. to noon and features raffles, giveaways, refreshments, and essential items for new families. It will offer resources and support for expecting parents and families with children under age one.
The first 100 attendees will receive a diaper bag filled with baby supplies, limited to one per family. Qualifying families will also have the opportunity to receive a free pack-n-play and car seat. In addition, certified technicians will provide complimentary car seat inspections to ensure child safety.
The baby shower is an opportunity to connect families with local resources while celebrating new arrivals.
