The Mount Vernon Farmers Market in Ohio is now open for vendor applications for its 2026 outdoor season. The market operates on Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. to noon at Mount Vernon's Public Square, running from May through October. This marks the market's 23rd year, featuring farmers, gardeners, and vendors offering fruits, vegetables, eggs, meat, honey, maple syrup, and other locally sourced products.
New produce vendors are encouraged to apply online. Eligible vendors must reside within a 50-mile radius of Public Square. Additionally, produce vendors are required to complete Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) training provided by OSU Extension Knox County this spring.
For further inquiries, individuals can contact the market via email at [email protected]. Updates about the market can be followed on Facebook and Instagram.
