The Ohio Natural Energy Foundation has opened applications for its 2026 scholarship program, which aims to support students pursuing careers in the natural gas and oil industry. Each scholarship offers $1,500 annually, with eligibility extending up to four years. Applicants must be U.S. citizens with career goals in the natural gas and oil sector, residents of Ohio or attending an accredited Ohio educational institution, and maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.

Bruce Tague, Executive Director of the Ohio Natural Energy Institute and Foundation, emphasized the importance of nurturing future professionals in this field: "The next generation will play a critical role in the natural gas and oil industry. We are proud to support students with career ambitions in our essential industry."

To apply, students need to submit an application form along with letters of recommendation, a resume, and an official transcript by March 1.
