The spotlight is set to shine on local talent as the Danville Performing Arts Department prepares to host "Danville's Got Talent" on Saturday, Jan. 17, at 7 p.m.
The event will take place at Danville High School and is open to a wide range of performers, including current students in grades K-12, Danville alumni, and community members.
Organizers are calling on singers, dancers, musicians, comedians, and other performers to showcase their skills in a night dedicated to creativity and community spirit. All acts must be school-appropriate, and interested participants are required to complete an information sheet and submit it to Jessica Smarrella at [email protected] by Friday, Jan. 9.
This annual event is more than just entertainment; it's also a fundraiser. All proceeds from the show will go toward improvements to the Danville High School auditorium, a space that has long served as a hub for school and community performances.
Whether you're a seasoned performer or stepping onto the stage for the first time, the show offers a welcoming platform to share your passion. Organizers encourage early submissions.
