Highland High School emerged victorious over Northridge High School with a 52-44 win, utilizing consistent scoring throughout all four quarters. The non-conference basketball game took place on December 6 at Northridge High School in Johnstown, Ohio.

According to the game's statistics, the Fighting Scots improved their overall record to 3-1 by relying on a balanced offensive strategy. This included a pivotal 15-point third quarter that allowed them to gain an advantage after a closely contested first half. Highland was initially trailing 13-12 after the first quarter but responded with a 14-point second quarter, securing a narrow lead by halftime. Their performance remained steady as they matched Northridge's scoring in the final eight minutes to secure the victory.

Northridge, now holding a record of 2-1, began the game with momentum but struggled to maintain its initial pace. The Vikings scored only nine points in the second quarter and were limited to 11 points in each of the last two periods. They were unable to mount a significant comeback against Highland’s disciplined defense. Despite this setback, Northridge demonstrated defensive resilience that has been characteristic of their early-season success.

Highland is scheduled to play again on December 19 against River Valley.
