Knox County partners with Country Club Rehabilitation Campus for local food drive

Country Club Rehabilitation Campus at Mt. Vernon is organizing a food drive in collaboration with Knox County as part of the FFTH community initiative. The event aims to support local agencies such as Interchurch Social Services and the Salvation Army, along with other organizations focused on food initiatives. All contributions will remain within Knox County.

Donations are being accepted until December 12th at 1350 Yauger Rd., Mt. Vernon, OH 43050. For inquiries, Chris Turner can be contacted at (740) 263-0420 or through their website countryclubretirementcampus.com.

The top ten requested food items include soup (pop-top cans or packages), jelly, canned meals like ravioli and SpaghettiOs, breakfast foods such as cereal and oatmeal, canned fruit and vegetables, pasta or egg noodles, boxed or packaged side dishes, peanut butter, and pasta sauce.
