The Rural Society at Warwick Farm is getting everyone ready for the Christmas season. The business will hold a two-day holiday sale and a wreath bar workshop in the first week of December at Warwick Farm, 16620 Wells Rd, Mount Vernon.

The holiday sale kicks off Friday, Dec.5, from 4 to 8 p.m., followed by the Saturday sale on Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There are different parking fees for each sale event: $10 for the first holiday sale and $5 for the next.

The organizers invite the public to join them for the "festivities at the farm featuring unique gifts, vintage holiday and home decor and locally made items to fill every stocking."

"Now that the fall sale is a wrap …put the holiday sale on your calendars!" the Rural Society Antique & Garden Show announced on Facebook. The post has garnered interest from more than 400 users.

The Holiday Wreath Bar Workshop will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on that same Saturday. Three classes are offered within those times, and tickets ($80) are now available for purchase. The fee covers materials, parking costs, and refreshments. Each session (11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., and 2 p.m.) is limited to 12 participants.

"You pick your time slot and pick your ingredients & we will provide everything for you to make your wreath," the organizers stated. "Includes: all supplies including tools & forms, admission parking to the sale, complimentary snack while you operate, help if you need it & a ribbon selection!
