The Mount Vernon Board of Education is inviting area senior citizens to a Fall Luncheon scheduled for Thursday, November 13. The event will take place at the high school gymnasium from noon to 2:00 p.m. Superintendent Bill Seder extended the invitation, saying, "Superintendent Bill Seder requests the honor of your presence at the Senior Citizens Fall Luncheon, sponsored by the Mount Vernon Board of Education."
The luncheon is free and will be hosted by student groups from the high school. Entertainment by students is planned as part of the event, along with lunch prepared by the district's Food Service Department.
