MVNU Music Department announces free Homecoming Concert on November 15

The Mount Vernon Nazarene University Music Department is set to host its annual Homecoming Concert on Saturday, November 15, at 1 p.m. in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

The concert will showcase performances by various ensembles including the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Una Voce Chamber Choir, Treble Singers Women’s Choir, Jazz Band, Flute Choir, String Ensemble, and Collegians Chorale. A highlight of the event will be selections by the Collegians Chorale featuring special alumni guests.

Signature songs such as "We Believe," "The Lord Bless You and Keep You," and Robert Ray's gospel classic "Credo" will be performed by the Collegians with guest soloist Rachel Adams. The concert will conclude with a collaborative performance of Psalm 145's "Forevermore" by Travis Cottrell and Phillip Keveren, involving combined choirs and the Wind Ensemble alongside alumni.
