The ceremony was led by Mrs. Lisa Overly, OSA advisor and social studies teacher. She highlighted the values of Integrity, Community Involvement, Student Involvement, and Academic Excellence that are central to OSA membership. Students must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher to be eligible for induction. Mrs. Overly said: “I am thrilled to have such a large group of students joining our organization. These are all remarkable students, and I know we are going to have a fantastic year because of them.”
Senior Lilliana Donabauer served as OSA President for the evening’s program. She offered encouragement to the new members alongside fellow senior officers Emma Parsisson (Vice President), Sophie Garcia (Secretary), Payton Tucker (Treasurer), and Allison Wilhelm (Social Media Coordinator). Each officer participated in introducing inductees and sharing their academic biographies.
The induction ceremony aimed not only to honor individual accomplishments but also to encourage other students at Centerburg High School to strive for excellence within both school and community settings.
