Fall Clean Up Day - Knox County, Ohio Residents
Mark your calendars for Fall Clean Up Day, happening Saturday, Oct. 18, from 8 a.m.-Noon at Ariel-Foundation Park in Mount Vernon (10 Pittsburgh Ave., in front of the Schnormeier Events Center). Hosted by the City of Mount Vernon in partnership with Knox County Recycling & Litter Prevention, this event gives all Knox County residents the opportunity to responsibly dispose of large or unwanted household items. The cost is $20 per car for unlimited loads, payable by cash, credit card, or check (made to the City of Mount Vernon with “Fall Clean Up” in the memo). Proof of residency may be required. Participants are responsible for unloading, with volunteers available to assist.
