Rubi Almaguer goes 4-for-4 as Ohio Hawks cruise to victory | Ohio Hawks 16U/08 National-Pentz/FB

Rubi Almaguer delivered an outstanding performance at the plate on Saturday, achieving a perfect 4-for-4 to propel Ohio Hawks National-Pentz 16U to an 8–3 victory over Oklahoma Athletics National in tournament play.

According to the game report, Almaguer, a standout from the Class of 2027, singled in the first, third, fifth, and sixth innings. Her efforts anchored a potent offensive attack that resulted in 11 hits for the Hawks. Ohio capitalized early with assistance from a defensive error and a run-scoring groundout by Jocelyn Scarbury, also a 2027 prospect.

Scarbury also excelled as a pitcher, securing the win after allowing just two earned runs over six innings. She struck out six batters and walked three during her steady outing.

Jazzy Wittman contributed with a sacrifice fly in the third inning. Additionally, both Keely Pollard and Hailey Rudrick provided multiple hits to complete the balanced offensive effort.

Oklahoma Athletics National's performance was highlighted by Jayla D., who went 1-for-3 with two RBIs. Adisynn F. added a hit and two stolen bases for the Athletics, who managed to turn a double play but struggled to keep up with the Hawks' relentless offense.

Ohio Hawks National-Pentz 16U aims to maintain their momentum when they face Indiana Shockwaves Tarver/Valentine 16U on Saturday.
