The Mount Vernon City Schools Central Office, located at 300 Newark Road, will operate on a new summer schedule to better serve the district and community.
Beginning June 2 until July 31, the office will be open Monday through Thursday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please note that the office will be closed on Fridays.
This adjusted schedule allows the district to continue offering support and services efficiently throughout the summer months. In case of an emergency or urgent need, community members are encouraged to reach out directly to key district leaders:

Mount Vernon City Schools serves more than 3,500 students in grades K-12. It operates six elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and a digital academy.
Mount Vernon High School has recently released its outstanding students for the fourth grading period.
