Mount Vernon High School Class of 1975 has announced plans to celebrate its 50-year reunion over the weekend of August 8–10, 2025.
According to the Mount Vernon High School class of 1975, the reunion will commence on Friday, August 8, with a casual meet and greet at Happy Street Bru Werks, located at 209 South Gay Street in Mount Vernon. The venue is owned by Mike and Jennifer Farmer and will feature a cash bar. A food truck may also be present.
On Saturday, August 9, the class dinner is scheduled to take place at the Glenn A. Gallagher Center at 1451 Gambier Road. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m., followed by a class photo at 7:30 p.m. A cash bar will be available from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. The cost for the dinner is $60 per person, offering a choice between Chicken Florentine or Beef Brisket. Guests who do not plan to eat are still requested to RSVP for space. Reservations must be made by June 30, 2025. The weekend will conclude on Sunday, August 10, with a brunch gathering at Bob Evans on Coshocton Avenue in Mount Vernon. Payments can be sent to "Class Reunion 1975 MVHS" at the specified address or via Zelle.
