The Knox County Safety Council, in collaboration with the Knox County Chamber of Commerce, is organizing a free informational meeting aimed at local business leaders, HR professionals, and safety coordinators. The event is scheduled for Tuesday, June 10, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. It will take place at the Knox County Chamber of Commerce, located at 501 South Main Street in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
This session will provide an overview of the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation (BWC) Safety Council Program and discuss how participation can benefit local employers. Attendees will gain insights into enhancing workplace safety strategies, preventing injuries, and reducing costs through shared resources and best practices.
Key topics to be covered include the benefits of joining the Knox County Safety Council and an overview of the BWC rebate program that offers up to a 3% premium rebate for eligible participants. Information on eligibility requirements, attendance expectations, and key dates for participation will also be provided.
