The Knox County Fair has been chosen to appear on the cover of the Ohio Department of Development's official 2025 Summer Guide. This selection underscores the fair's importance as a leading summer event in Ohio, attracting visitors from within and outside the state.

The Summer Guide by the Ohio Department of Development is a detailed resource that highlights Ohio's top summer travel destinations, festivals, and events. It is distributed widely both online and in print, serving as an essential tool for travelers planning their summer activities.

"We are incredibly honored and excited to have the Knox County Fair featured on the cover of this year's Ohio Summer Guide," said Olivia Toth, Marketing Manager of the Knox County Convention & Visitors Bureau. "This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the volunteers, exhibitors, and the entire Knox County community."

Toth expressed gratitude to local Gambier resident Aly Giles for sharing a photo that was selected for the guide's cover. The image captures her daughters enjoying the fair, representing "the ultimate image of summer fun."

Known for its agricultural heritage and family-friendly environment, the Knox County Fair offers various activities suitable for all ages. Attractions include livestock shows, agricultural exhibits, rides, food, and live entertainment.

"The Knox County Fair truly embodies the spirit of Ohio's summer celebrations," Toth added. She hopes that this exposure will introduce more visitors to what Knox County has to offer.

The 2025 Knox County Fair is scheduled from July 19th to July 26th at the Knox County Fairgrounds in Mount Vernon, Ohio.
