As a testament to Dan Emmett Elementary School's commitment to fostering a positive learning environment, it is gearing up for celebrations and recognitions before the school year winds down.

With students eagerly anticipating summer break, the school is making sure they finish the year on a high note with special events that highlight their achievements and positive behaviors.

One of the most anticipated events is the final PBIS store, happening on Tuesday, May 27. The PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program has been an integral part of Dan Emmett Elementary for over ten years, shaping a school culture that reinforces positive behaviors. The PBIS store is a fun way for students to exchange their hard-earned rewards for prizes, reinforcing the principles of responsibility, respect, and kindness. Students are encouraged to attend and celebrate their accomplishments from the past year.

To recognize students' academic efforts and achievements, Award Assemblies will take place on its last day of school, Thursday, May 29. Most awards will be distributed within individual classrooms except for Kindergarten and 5th-grade students, which will be held in the gym.

With a year of hard work and dedication behind them, Dan Emmett Elementary is making sure its students feel valued and celebrated before they embark on a well-deserved summer.
